Pokémon GO's April 2025 Community Day will spotlight Vanillite, the Fresh Snow Pokémon, on Sunday, April 27, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.
Event Highlights
- Increased Vanillite Spawns: Vanillite will appear more frequently in the wild, with a chance to encounter its Shiny form.
- Exclusive Move: Evolve Vanillish into Vanilluxe during the event or up to May 4 at 10:00 PM local time to learn the Charged Attack Avalanche.
Special Research
For $2.00 (or local equivalent), access a Community Day–exclusive Special Research featuring:
- Three Vanillite encounters with a special seasonal background
- Additional Vanillite encounters
- One Premium Battle Pass
- One Rare Candy XL
- Additional rewards
Log in during the event to receive Timed Research awarding an encounter with Vanillite featuring a special background. Complete tasks before May 4 at 10:00 PM local time.
Event Bonuses
- 3× XP for catching Pokémon
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
- 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon
- Lure Modules and Incense activated during the event will last for three hours
- Take snapshots during Community Day for a surprise
- One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day
- Trades will require 50% less Stardust
