Trainers, get ready for a nostalgic and exciting weekend! The July 2025 Community Day Classic in Pokémon GO features Eevee, the Evolution Pokémon, making its third appearance in Community Day events. This two-day event will take place on:
- Saturday, July 5, 2025
- Sunday, July 6, 2025
Both days run from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.
Event Highlights
- Increased Eevee Spawns: Eevee will appear more frequently in the wild. If you're lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Eevee.
- Exclusive Moves: Evolve Eevee into its various evolutions during the event and up until July 12, 2025, at 10:00 PM local time to obtain exclusive charged attacks. These include:
- Vaporeon: Scald
- Jolteon: Zap Cannon
- Flareon: Superpower
- Espeon: Shadow Ball
- Umbreon: Psychic
- Leafeon: Bullet Seed
- Glaceon: Water Pulse
- Sylveon: Psyshock
- Special Research Ticket: For $1.99 (or the equivalent in your local currency), you can access the Eevee Community Day Classic–exclusive Special Research. This includes rewards like a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, additional Eevee encounters, and three encounters with Eevee that have a Delightful Days Special Background.
- Timed Research: Trainers who log in during the event will receive Timed Research tasks that award an encounter with an Eevee featuring a Delightful Days–themed Special Background. Completing these tasks also increases your chances of encountering a Shiny Eevee.
Evolution Requirements
To evolve Eevee into certain evolutions during the event, consider the following requirements:
- Espeon: Evolve Eevee after walking 1 km with it as your buddy.
- Umbreon: Evolve Eevee after walking 1 km with it as your buddy.
- Sylveon: Evolve Eevee after earning seven hearts with it as your buddy.
These evolution bonuses are available from the start of the event until July 12, 2025, at 10:00 PM local time.
Event Bonuses
- 1/4 Hatch Distance: Eggs placed into Incubators during the event will require 1/4 of the usual distance to hatch.
- 3-Hour Incense and Lures: Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) and Lure Modules activated during the event will last for 3 hours.
- Photobomb Surprise: Take a few Snapshots during Community Day for a surprise encounter.
