Event Schedule & Bonuses

The festivities begin at 10 a.m. on July 1 and wrap up at 8 p.m. on July 6 (local time). Trainers can enjoy rotating daily perks, including:

  • ½ Egg Hatch Distance (July 1–3)
  • 2× XP for catches (July 3–5)
  • 2× Stardust for catches (July 5–6)

Featured Pokémon & Shinies

Expect to see new costumed Pokémon like Ivysaur and Venusaur in party hats, plus Gimmighoul sporting a 9th anniversary coin. Shiny versions of all these debut during the event, including Shiny Pikachu and Eevee with festive gear.

Raids, Research & Tickets

One-star raids will spotlight Pikachu and Eevee wearing special hats. The event also includes:

  • Free timed research
  • $1.99 basic Timed Research
  • $4.99 Masterwork Research (“Wish Granted”) featuring Shiny Jirachi reward

For web store enthusiasts, Pokémon GO offers a $4.99 Ultra Ticket box including Max Potions, avatar items, and early access to party gear.

PokéStop & Friendship Perks

Event-wide bonuses enhance social gameplay:

  • Increased chance to become Lucky Friends and get Lucky Pokémon from trades
  • Friendship gains through gifts, battles, and trades are boosted
  • PokéStops can turn gold without Golden Lure Modules

Look for “party hats” scattered around the map—tapping them gives items or Pokémon encounters.
