Niantic has officially confirmed two upcoming Community Day events in Pokémon GO for July and August.
July Community Day Classic: Eevee
Mark your calendars for July 5–6, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time. This special two-day Classic event brings Eevee back in style. During the event:
- Eevee spawns more frequently, with a chance to encounter Shiny ones.
- Catch or hatch Eevee during the event to get the Charged Attack Last Resort.
- Evolve Eevee by July 12 (10 p.m. local time) to obtain special moves on its evolutions—like Scald for Vaporeon and Zap Cannon for Jolteon.
August Community Day: Player Vote
For August, Niantic is shaking things up by letting players vote for one of four Pokémon: Frillish, Lechonk, Rookidee, or Wimpod. Voting opens June 7 at 6 p.m. PT via Pokémon GO’s official YouTube channel and closes June 8 at 6 p.m. PT.
The winning Pokémon will star in the August Community Day event on August 30, 2025, from 2 p.m.–5 p.m. local time.
