Max Out IVs with Gold Bottle Caps via GO Pass Deluxe

Trainers, big news! Pokémon GO is finally adding Hyper Training, letting you boost a Pokémon’s IVs to their maximum—as seen in the mainline games. This feature launches next week using Gold Bottle Caps unlocked via the Deluxe GO Pass: Ancients Recovered, priced at $19.99.

How Hyper Training Works

  • Buddy Requirement: Pokémon must be at least Great Buddy rank. Gold caps max out all IVs, while regular Bottle Caps max a single stat.
  • Training Tasks: After applying a cap, complete stat-specific in-game tasks (like Gym battles or buddy activities) within 365 days.
  • Shadow Pokémon: These cannot be hyper-trained.

Event Details & Availability

  • Gold Bottle Cap Release: Included in the $19.99 Deluxe Pass for Ancients Recovered, available June 23–29.
  • Timing: This launch aligns with GO Fest Global on June 28–29.
