Pokémon GO's annual "Spring into Spring" event is in full bloom, introducing Gossifleur and its evolution, Eldegoss, to the game. Running from April 9 at 10:00 a.m. to April 14 at 8:00 p.m. local time, the event offers trainers a bouquet of bonuses and themed activities.​

Event Highlights

  • New Pokémon Debut: Gossifleur makes its first appearance in Pokémon GO, available through wild encounters, 5 km Eggs, and as a reward in Field Research tasks. Trainers can evolve Gossifleur into Eldegoss using 50 Candy.​
  • Event Bonuses: Enjoy extended Lucky Egg durations, double Candy from hatching Eggs, and halved Egg Hatch distances during the event. Additionally, there's an increased chance to encounter Shiny Remoraid and Shiny Fletchling in the wild.​
  • Themed Wild Encounters: Different Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild on specific days, including Lapras, Marill, Lotad, Ducklett, Dewpider, Vulpix, Hisuian Growlithe, Ponyta, Numel, Litleo, Oddish, Alolan Exeggutor, Hoppip, Roselia, and Cherubi.​
  • Egg Hatches: During the event, 2 km Eggs may hatch Magby, Budew, and Mantyke, while 5 km Eggs can yield Remoraid, Fletchling, and Gossifleur.​
  • Research Opportunities: Complete event-themed Field Research tasks to earn items like Great Balls, Pinap Berries, Stardust, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon. A paid Timed Research ticket is also available for $2.00, offering rewards such as 5,000 XP, a Lucky Egg, two Super Incubators, and additional Pokémon encounters.​
